Waste of Money

I purchased this machine as a gift and it only worked 3 times. This coffee maker is not worth the money or aggravation!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replaced my Breville with this DeLonghi. Love it!!

My wife and I were treated to a few cups of Nespresso while visiting our friends and I immediately fell in love. I first bought the much less expensive Breville but thought it was cheaply made so I returned it and bought this DeLonghi, which our friends have. What a perfect machine. It simply works simply, perfectly, and easily and produces perfect cups of coffee each time. If I have any complaint it would be that the coffee doesn’t come out absolutely steaming, piping hot—it’s definitely hot but I wish it was even hotter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for your review, Marc. The temperature of your VertuoLine capsules is controlled by the information programmed into the barcode of each blend. You may, however, pre-heat your mug of choice by running a cleaning cycle with your XX machine. I should have bought one sooner!

I have wanted a Nespresso for 20 years. After a rough year I decided to treat myself, and I should have done it sooner! I love my Vertuo Plus and recommend it to everyone. It makes fantastic coffee and espresso and brews consistently.

I'm so thoroughly obsessed with this product it's seriously changed our lives it tastes good it smells good as a good mouthfield's easy to use I can make it while holding a baby on one hip Highly recommend to anyone it's the best coffee out there Nespresso Vertuoline Intense Assortment, 10 Count (Pack of 4)

This machine made my life and mornings much more pleasant. I have a rule.. 'don't talk to me before I've had my coffee'. This tiny beast of a machine saved me so much money on Starbucks every morning. I can now make my morning lattes at home without standing in a line, unless my husband gets to it first. But if you love your lattes and espresso, this machine is a must.

My office has one of these and it might be my favorite perk of the job. Nespresso machines are too expensive for me to have my own, but really they're not that expensive for an espresso machine. Each drink comes out perfect, frothy, and exactly what you're looking for in an espresso. My one criticism is that it uses pods which, while recyclable, are still massively wasteful and use up a lot of plastic. You can also only use Nespresso brand pods, unlike Keurig where generic pods work too, so that's an extra cost and does limit you to only what they offer.

It's an elegant looking machine but the coffee pods are very expensive. Also because Nespresso bought all the rights, other brands can't make pods that would fit this machine for a few more years as far as I know. This machine will cost you a lot if you drink coffee everyday. Also, it's supposed to push out the old coffee pod to its container at the back but it doesn't always do that.
