Great until the door got stuck

Purchased over a year ago because we loved our last Breville. Recently, the door stopped working, metal on metal when we close it. Very cringe worthy so we stopped using it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the product.

This product is my second Breville oven. I want to learn how best to use the air fryer function since this is new to me. I would have liked a written tutorial with more simple air fry recipes or how to find them. Searching on-line has been frustrating and confusing especially since using this product is NOT the same as using a free standing air fryer.

I've had this about a year now and absolutely love it. The only thing I've noticed is my temperature is a little hotter, so I just adjust the temp down a few degrees. I've used every feature and they all work wonderfully. I've had someone complain that theirs had a high pitch whine, mine does not. This little machine does EVERYTHING! I bake, make pizza, slow cook, bake cookies, broil, dehydrate. Every function works to perfection! Would highly recommend this work horse to anyone who needs a little help when make big dinners, or even for someone who has small space and needs it to replace a large oven. I use this EVERY DAY! Absolutely love it!

This is overall a very good oven. It Toasts, air fries, bakes small stuff with easy to use controls. Open the door and the wire rack comes out automatically. Nice. I see poor reviews for longevity but honestly I only expect 2-3 years. By that time it looks gross anyway.

I am now on my third countertop oven in 6 months. The first was more of a toaster oven but highly rated. It would either get too hot or not hot enough. I remember my mom baking pies and biscuits in her little oven and I wanted something that would bake so I would not have to use my big oven, especially in Arizona summers. Number one oven failed. The second oven was given to my by my son who heard me complaining. It was a combo air fryer, convection and other multi purposes. Alas, it was not a good toaster. Only one side would brown and even then it would take 5 minutes. Plus, this thing was gargantuan.
Once again I turned to reviews and decided to try the Breville. I think I have finally found that the third one is a charm! Not only does it toast (be sure to push the frozen button to get toast quickly) but bakes perfectly, air fries and does so many useful things. I do want to rave about the recipes. I have made whole meals in this seemingly little oven.
So far this is far superior to any other counter oven I have found.
Once again I turned to reviews and decided to try the Breville. I think I have finally found that the third one is a charm! Not only does it toast (be sure to push the frozen button to get toast quickly) but bakes perfectly, air fries and does so many useful things. I do want to rave about the recipes. Great machine

We bought our oven on February 28, 2021. We love it
but recently it started to make a funny noise. We unplug it and the noise stops. After plugging in again the noise continues. Not sure if the unit is dangerous & we shouldn’t use.

Great Oven with a couple of improvements needed

Overall a very capable countertop oven with air fryer capability. Wish there was a way to bypass the pre-heat step when the oven is shut off and needs to be started again for some more tine.
Two improvements are needed for a unit of this higher price point!
1. The crumb tray is just a painted finish vs a non-stick or chromed surface, so any drippings are hard to remove and all leave permanent stains!
2. The "enameled" pan is either a cheap enamel coating or a paint that stains with every drop of food that lands on it. The only exceptions to issues #1 and #2 are dry bread crumbs.
Breville can and should do better with these two shortcomings! My recommendation is only valid if you don't mind permanent stains on a brand new appliance.

Stopped working for no reason!

I loved mine until it stopped working for no reason. After 4 years, I can't even use it any more. It keeps showing me an error code of 120/9067. So disappointed!!!

That error code means the Start button has been held down too long. You only need give it a quick press.
