With the way the front door opens (hinges down), the basket partially opens as well and drips food on the glass of the door. Huge pain and makes for serious clean up almost every time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer a month ago after extensive research. I was looking for an appliance to replace my regular toaster oven that could also be used as an air fryer among other things. I love all the features of this unit, the size and the delicious results. I use the Breville app almost every day for recipes and general cooking directions. So far I have used all the features except the slow cooker. Everything turns out great. So happy I made this purchase!

Last review I said that I would not recommend I mistakenly hit the wrong button I would recommend this oven better than a house oven and uses less electricity

I have been without my previous Breville Smart Oven Pro for over a year now. I wanted to replace it with another Breville but couldn't justify the purchase (or thought I couldn't!). as soon as I saw the Smart Oven Air Fryer in the color, Sea Salt, I was sold. The Air fryer feature was just icing on the cake. Once again I rarely use my full size oven, and I am reminded of why I loved my previous Breville counter top oven so much. Shouldn't have waited so long.
