I love this Breville toaster oven/air fryer. I use it every single day. The temp is accurate, it is sturdy and well made. I can’t say enough good things about it.
I have been wanted an air fryer for a while now and decided upon the Breville. I like that it sits on my counter and I can use it for so many things. I toast, bake, air fry, etc. The only thing I wish you could do is buy extra fry baskets for it. They are not available, only for the more expensive oven.
So much more convenient to use than my big oven but the biggest reward is that I'm now saving all that gas that my big oven would have used. Given the very high cost of natural gas currently in California, this Smart Oven Air Fryer will be saving me a ton of money!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Smart Oven Air Fryer

I ordered the Smart Oven Air Fryer in the spring of 2021 in the Champagne color. This oven replaced a smaller Breville oven that I owned. I received the product in December 2021. For the most part the oven works quite well and I've been pleased until the door began making noises. I contacted Breville to get the name of a high heat lubricant I could use so the door would operate smoother. I was given the option of returning the oven for a re-manufactured oven. I was opposed to a re-manufactured unit. While on the Breville sight I began noticing that bottom drawers on all the smart ovens in the pictures .........that were all closed flush with the unit. Mine didn't look like that at all! At the time I received the product I thought it a very strange design but figured Breville must have a reason and let it go. But my friends with Breville Smart Ovens bottom drawers all close flush with the unit. So I'm curious if anyone else has a drawer design like mine? I've only owned this product from Dec 2021 to March 2023. Perhaps the design changed?? Upon reading other comments another person also had a bad sounding door and then her oven stopped working! I own the Breville stand mixer and electric tea kettle all in the champagne color. Now I have to decide if I should fork out another $$$ for a new Smart Oven/Air Fryer. A re-manufactured product is just a road I don't want to travel........sounds like more problems down the road eventually.

Timer stopped working

I really love this oven but the timer has stopped working and when you have it on bake it turns off in ten minutes. I have read online that others have had the same issues.

Very well designed. The controls are intuitive-- easy to make selections (bake, toast, broil) and then to adjust time and heat. The small extension in the back allows for a 13" pizza pan (included) and the light turns on automatically near the end of the toast cycle so you can see if the time was adequate.
We're well pleased with our dual purposed Breville, makes best toast and air fries delicious tots, chicken or fries. Just wish it was a little higher in height for baking,etc
