This Replaced My Full Size Oven

I recently bought the Smart Oven Air Fryer in Sea Salt to replace an old countertop convection oven/air fryer. You have to run the machine on the pizza setting before first use. Yes, you'll have a chemical smell due to off gassing (the release of harmful chemicals from new products), but that's not abnormal for a lot of household items (new mattresses, rugs, clothing, furniture, electronics, etc.). It's why the user manual says to run it empty the first time.
The machine is relatively quiet when in use (especially compared to my last one) and I've not had any type of noise when it's plugged in and not in use. The heat output isn't as much as my other machine either. Yes, the machine radiates heat when in use, but it doesn't push out as much hot air as my last machine, even running it at 450°. Pre-heating the Smart Oven doesn't take very long and it fits quite a bit of food, so it's totally replaced my full-size oven. It also cooks evenly. My last air fryer/convection oven ran hotter in the back right corner, so things placed there would burn before the rest of the dish was finished cooking.
The only downside is cleaning. Most of the machine is relatively easy to wipe out, but the housing/covering for the heating element on top is extremely hard to get at. What I think are heat tints formed after the first use and trying to clean it was a major pain in the butt. Overall though, it works really well and it looks great on my counter.

We bought the Breville Smart Oven in December 2023. To date we've used it as an air fryer and a convection oven, and it has performed perfectly in each instance. The controls for setting the oven mode (e.g. toast, bake, air fry, etc.), temperature, and cook time are very intuitive and easy to operate. The oven preheats quickly, and based on recipe cook times and temperatures, the temperature achieved is very accurate relative to the digital setting.

beep volume control

Love everything about this but the volume of the beep. I haven't found it in the manual for this model. Is there any way to adjust the volume on the beep for the oven?

I'm so happy I got this for my husband for Christmas. We were the different settings and love the ones we have tried so far - air fry, bake, pizza, reheat and keep warm. We continue to learn more as we go along and expect to use it more than the oven in our range. It would be helpful to have a little more information about the convection and frozen settings and how to make adjustments in scratch recipies.
