Good So Far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not installed the unit yet. I have it on a bench being tested. The design is first rate, but this is a very heavy beast. I don't like the electric door. I suspect that will be the first thing to fail. Kitchenaid needs to mention in their advertising and online info that the unit only comes with mounting instructions. The user manual, warranty information, etc all have to downloaded from the website.
So far the features I have tested have all worked satisfactorily, except microwave popcorn leaves a large amount of unpopped kernels, probably because there is no moving turntable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

LOVE the microwave function but haven't had a chance yet to use the air fryer or toaster oven. Cannot wait to try all the other functions and would like to review those in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This icrowave does not operate properly all the time. Powers off, does not illuminate the time brightly, not at all user friendly. First one I received was faulty and they replaced it but it still does not work properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing performance

The noise level is minimal and cooking performance is amazing. I love the way it looks and the performance capacity is great. Love love love this microwave.

Too complicated - not clear instructions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find this microwave very difficult to use and the directions online and in the Manual are no help. It also does not have a turntable and when I reheat things it is not evenly warm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very disappointed in our new Microwave/ air fryer combo above stove unit. I purchased KitchenAid for a quality unit and it has less power than our old microwave only. If I knew how weak it was I would have purchased a different unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It takes a LONG time for the exhaust fan that automatically turns on during air fryer to turn off, like 30 minutes. Also, randomly at 8:22 pm every night, the exhaust fan comes on. I did not program it to do so. There is a not a place in the app to do so. Lastly, I came home from vacation and saw an error code that said service was needed and it's about 2 months old. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and turns out all it was was that power was lost while I was out of town.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful Kitchen Appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are many things that I love about this multifunction microwave; for example, the airfryer does a great job on fish sticks, and french fries, the toaster works well on frozen waffles and crisping up breadsticks, and the options for melting butter and reheating coffee are very useful. I'm still working out the kinks of the baking option, which seems like the preheating part takes awhile and then bakes unevenly. I like how the fan cools off the oven and doesn't heat up the kitchen. I am happy that I chose this appliance and the more I use it, the more comfortable I am with it. I worried that I had spent a lot of money on something that I would not use optimally, I have found that I do use most of the options. Although I downloaded and printed out the user manual, it isn't as user friendly as it could be; it isn't intuitive and perhaps needs examples of actual recipes and how to troubleshoot potential different baking issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!
