Great features/no instructions on how to use them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks great and has many features, but unfortunately does not come with any instructions on how to use all these wonderful features! Took us quite a while just to figure out how to set the time and date. The manual that comes with it is all about how to install it. Couldn't even find anything useful online for this model or by calling the service number. Really! For the amount we paid for this multi-feature microwave I expected some information/helpful tips on how to use its many features. So I'm deducting one star because as nice at it looks, so far we're still using it as a basic microwave. :(

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Microwave stopped working in less than 6 months. Although I purchased a service protection plan from the retailer, I was directed to contact the manufacturer as the appliance stopped working within a year of purchase. The manufacturer setup an appointment and the repair company sends an email a few days later Appliance Repair stating “we
are currently awaiting the arrival of the parts needed to
repair your microwave” although no one has been to my
home to actually inspect the microwave to determine the
issue. A few days later, I receive another email stating that “We regret to inform that we are still waiting for one or more
parts as needed for repair on your KITCHENAID M/W
OTR” again, without anyone ever inspecting the
appliance. I then contacted the manufacturer again to
inform them of the lack of service that I have received
from the repair appointment that they setup and their
response is simply “All that we can do is setup the service
appointment”. At this point, the manufacturer can continue
to push the issue over to their authorized repair
companies until the warranty expires and I am left without
a working appliance.

There is no accountability for this company actually honoring their manufacturers warranty for a product that is less than 6 months old and I am left with an inoperable microwave that does not perform its primary function of heating of food for more than 3 seconds before shutting off and generating an error message.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Air Fryer and No Turntable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had for a couple months. Love the Air Fryer mode. We have our microwave venting outside so there is no odor in the house while using. So many features to this microwave and I’m still learning everything it can do. Best is the lack of turntable Glad to not deal with that anymore. It is counter depth which makes for a much better look in your kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!
