Most frustrating purchase I've ever made

Horrible engineering. The door is falling off with each use. The door has to be gently forcefully closed. So how much microwaves are escaping. And affecting my family!!! Turns off when it wants to.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy touch

Times over spill goes to the bottom and really needs scrubbed and I’m scared to really scrub it. And I wish all the bottoms lit up. I sometimes can’t find start in the dark when I’m getting a popcorn late at night lol overall I really like this microwave I would buy again A+

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love some parts of it and have trouble with other parts. It likes to go offline when you in the middle of cooking something & you have to reset the date, time, and whatever you were cooking. There is no reason to have it be online but I don't know how to shut that process off! It seems to take longer to cook all of the items that I use to cook faster in my old microwave. I like many of the features it has on it that I have tried (like melt, soften,toast, broil) and some I have not tried yet tried. The instruction manual is not very easy to read and somethings are not even listed. The airfryer is confusing cause it says where to put the rack (#1) but another place says to put on #2. When you set the temp (ex:400) and you're to put your food in it right away...how do you know when it reaches 400 degrees and when should you set timer for your food. Very confusing. I wish the place we bought it would have a demonstration day so you could ask questions and get personal help.

Great features needs better manual

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had the microwave installed in a new home build. This microwave has a lot of features. The problem is the manual does not provide the necessary information to properly use it. I could not find a video on KitchenAid website to assist in using it. So we are learning by trial and error. With that said, we think we bought an excellent microwave that we will use for years.
I would like to thank Mike Orlando of Slyman Brothers in St Louis for all of the support he has given us in our purchases of a complete KitchenAid kitchen. You could not ask anyone to provide better support than Mike.

Uneven cooking

Great Features but under performs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the look and all the features but I feel like it doesn’t perform like a normal toaster, microwave, and air fryer. Foods appear to take longer to heat up, toast, or air fry which is disappointing for the price!

Looks better than it performs as a microwave!

The microwave seems SO under powered for a microwave. 4-5 min to get milk hot for hot chocolate is ridiculous. It warms things up but WAY longer than the old microwaves. The airfryer works great. The microwave came w a startup instructions but that’s it. Super hard to find the instructions (not manual for installing). It’s a great looking machine but if you want mostly for a microwave I would definitely stay away from it:(
