Not so great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kitchen Aide appliances aren’t the greatest. I have all Kitchen Aide and 4 months ago, replaced 3 of them. The last microwave only lasted a few years and never worked properly. Had to unplug it and didn’t buy a new one for many years. Since the other appliances are KA, we wanted to replace with the same. This new one loses power every week and I have to redo the time and date. There aren’t any instructions. Too hard to find online. Can’t even use the convection or air fryer, because no instructions. These are more expensive than most and not worth it.

Features need to be fine tuned

The salesman recommended this micro to me as the one I wanted was on back order/ now discontinued. It doesn't suite my families lifestyle. We usually warm our plates of food ,however, the inside is too small for a regular plate of food. It can't accommodate a corning ware dish (space is too small). Print shield does not match my other kitchen aid appliances. The finish tone is too low. I recommend Kitchen aid go back to the drawing board on this product.

The Swiss Army knife of kitchen appliances

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’re a senior retired couple and our home is only 10 years old. We wanted to upgrade our kitchen and went from a gas cooktop to induction. Then we installed this multi-function oven over it. 90% of what we were using our double ovens for is now done in the new oven and we gave our air fryer to our kids and freed up a bunch of counter space. We have to read the manual occasionally to understand the sequence of programming for all of the different functions but this machine should be the standard in new homes.
The cooking cavity is smaller than conventional microwaves but there is room enough for our Dutch oven so we cook roasts in it rather than heat up the big oven. That will just be for the Thanksgiving turkey hereafter.
Besides the functionability, it looks great in the space with it’s flush with the cabinets design and black glass front.
Wishing we had done this sooner. Very satisfied with this appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Microwave is under powered. Also Kitchen Aid should have some help videos or something in writing that a person could read. I think this equipment can do a lot of things but it is sure hard to figure out how it works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave part is hopeless. It takes forever to heat your food. We tried microwavable popcorn and literally took it out after 8 minutes with about 10 kernels popped. The bag never expanded.

Products look nice but the logo peeled part way off after gentle dusting. Customer service is terrible! Extremely long wait times always and even when you get promised that they will send you a replacement part, they don’t.

It actually can replace a toaster oven!

I was particularly fascinated by its “toaster oven”capability and indeed it does toast albeit it requires close to twice the time a separate toaster oven requires.
