Quality and Sleek

We bought this slide-in range to replace an old worn out range after moving into a new house. The design and style is very attractive. The glass top is great quality and ample space. The warming zone is a great addition that we did not have before. Overall, we would buy this same range again.

Safety Issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The touch buttons to operate the oven do not respond. It is very annoying. It takes me a very long time just to get the oven to turn on (or off). It just took me 10 minutes to turn off the oven light.
I hope I never have a fire in there. Because you would need to cut out the heat quickly and that will not happen with this oven. This is a safety hazard.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Smart range

Love the looks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 5 Whirlpool appliances at one time. Love them all! The stove is much different than what I am used to and it has taken me a while to adjust. I love everything about it except the glass top. Most anything cooked leaves spots which are difficult to remove. I did purchase glass stove top cleaner but you still have to use a lot of elbow grease to remove spots.

Looks good, Difficult Control Panel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The range looks really nice but the control panel is stiff and difficult to use. I hope that with more use it will be more responsive. Right now you have to push hard to get the function to register and initiate. A bit of a disappointment for a well respected brand.

STAY AWAY!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The blue protective covering on the stove would NOT come off. We spent hours trying to get it off and the entire top of the stove was scratched. We called for assistance and explained this is a manufacture defect and requested either a new top plate to replace the damaged one or to return the stove and exchange it for a new one. There is no reason they couldn't use material that comes off easily. They denied our request and we appealed. A supervisor was supposed to call that same day and we NEVER heard from anyone and still haven't heard back from anyone. We have a brand new stove we paid a lot of money for with a scratched top because of this blue tape issue. We googled and the process to remove it is absolutely ridiculous. And they don't even tell you that process!!!!!!!! Had they I may have been able to avoid this. I had to google it. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY.
