Redesign a mistake. Keeping it clean a struggle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was our second kitchen renovation. Ten years ago we opted for all upscale kitchenaid applicanes. Replaced our old gas range with this model and its been nothing but a mess to keep clean and utilize. No operators manual you have to go on line to leanr to operate functions. The glossy range top surrounding burners is a major headache to keep clean. The topmounted control screen is poorly placed in design and wish they had left it mounted on the front of the unit between burner handles. Programming is complicated and difficult. Previous untit a breeze. Takes FOREVER to preheat and alarms, bells, sounds too faint to hear if you are timing a roast or cake. Oven racks now made of a cheaper lower gauge metal. Warmer drawer too shallow This was a great disappointment and regretfully we are stuck with this . Caveat Emptor buyer beware this is NOT worth the money.
