[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our KitchenAid 3 weeks ago. I chose this model because it has 3 racks. With just my husband & I at home now, I wanted to be able to do small loads. I’ve been using the 2 upper racks. I’m amazed at how well this dishwasher cleans! I hope it performs this great as time goes by.

Not all dishes getting clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve only had the dishwasher about 2 months. I like the look and the third row but it isn’t getting some of the dishes clean. I’m careful to not overload and that they have a clear area to be cleaned but some mugs and bowls tend to have leftover residue after washing. I even rinse those that may have more stuck on food. I’m worried that I made the wrong choice as this is my first KitchenAid. More worrisome is that I just ordered a KitchenAid oven too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like most folks, we replaced a unit that failed - it had a leak after 8-9 years. So far, we like the design of the new unit, but are still getting used to the different top rack silverware slots. The new unit seems slightly noisier than the KitchenAid unit it replaced - both rated at 44dBA. It may just be that the sounds are slightly different in pitch. In addition, the door hinge does not seem as robust. However the bottom rack is a better design, as it is not on slides and rolls out easier for filling. The SS finish seems less prone to staining than our previous unit.
If we get 10 or more years of service from this one we will be very happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, large capacity, very quiet, don’t even hear it and superb drying. Love all the cleaning and drying options. And no food filter that needs to changed! Why did I wait so long to upgrade from my Thermador? Love this.
