[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, it’s great! Incredibly quiet, exceptional cleaning. I’ve never owned KitchenAid, and this product Has not caused any disappointment. LOVE the black ore color. Looking forward to getting the rest of our appliances in the near future.

Kitchenaid is the best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is replacing a Kitchenaid that was installed in 2007. They have great features and reliability and that is what we were wanting. We highly recommend Kitchenaid appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, so good. All my dishes and pots come out spotless. The third rack is a nice feature. The automatic door open system works very well and such an energy saver.

3 weeks in and here is what I think
on November 10, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher to replace an older Whirlpool model. We chose this one based on Consumer Reports’ claims about its superior drying performance, our curiosity about the third rack, and overall brand reputation. We’ve had it for about three weeks now, and here are my thoughts so far—what I like, what I don’t, and what might influence whether I’d buy it again.
What I Like -
• It does an excellent job cleaning, which is expected for a new unit, but still nice to see confirmed in practice.
• The third rack is handy for various items. Since I’ve never had one before, I sometimes forget it’s there, but it’s a nice bonus once you get used to using it.
What I Don’t Like -
• The dishwasher has a slight lean to it and doesn’t sit perfectly flush with the surrounding cabinetry. Installation seems correct and it’s level, so it might just be how the unit is built. Not a deal-breaker—just a bit odd.
• The handle sticks out, which is typical for KitchenAid. It looks fine, but it does take away from a more streamlined look. Again, not a big deal, just slightly annoying.
• The silverware basket on the bottom rack isn’t secured, so it slides around. Some people might like the flexibility, but I personally find it frustrating. I prefer everything to stay in place. Not a deal-breaker
• The door is pretty stiff when opening. I’m guessing it’ll loosen up over time, but right now it takes a bit of force to pull down when loading the bottom rack. On the plus side, at least it doesn’t flop open on its own—that would be worse. Lastly, not a big deal, just annoying.
Overall -
So far, it seems like a solid, well-performing dishwasher. It cleans well, but a few design quirks keep it from being perfect. Only time will tell how it holds up long-term.

Broke down after 2 uses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Electronic issues with controls after 2 uses. Kitchenaid subcontractor ordering 2 new parts - one backordered. So not sure when we’ll be able to use again. Back to hand washing!
Only positive at this time is design and noise factor. Both A+. May modify review once fixed and working for awhile.
