Great Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine replaced my Kitchen Aid dishwasher that I used for the last 19 years.
There is so much I find disappointing about the new unit. To start with the third tray is useless. The drying cycle goes for over 5 hours. The door opens at end of the cycle and remaining moisture is released to the under side of the counter which damages it. There was no user manual included so to actually understand the operation of the machine you need to go on line. The site is a nightmare to navigate and the info you actually need isn’t there or at least I couldn’t find it.
In order to get the water up to to third shelf the second shelf slides into the water supply opening. I wonder how long this seal will last.
This machine has a fitter that needs to be changed periodically unlike my old unit that had a soft food handler and hat didn’t require any maintenance. This brand at least this machine has gone way downhill , even writing this review online is not easy to navigate. Overall very disappointing!

We would recommend the KitchenAid dishwasher,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far we are impressed with the ease in loading especially the silverware. The silverware is always super clean and much easier to put away.
The noise level is great. We turn it on when we go to bed and never hear it doing it’s magic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleans great,quiet, I don’t like the silverware basket since it doesn’t have the top slots on each section. I’m afraid it will cause scratches on utensils while washing.
I also wish the middle rack for glasses had a flip down piece for shorter or wine glasses.

Hasn’t worked in 2 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hasn’t worked for 2 months. Repairs company keeps ending people and they order new parts but never works. Sure wish KitchenAid would just replace it….it would be cheaper. I’m going with Bosch next time.
