Cleans great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleans great,quiet, I don’t like the silverware basket since it doesn’t have the top slots on each section. I’m afraid it will cause scratches on utensils while washing.
I also wish the middle rack for glasses had a flip down piece for shorter or wine glasses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dishwasher has large capacity, cleans beautifully and is very quiet. It cleans wine glasses perfectly. Filter is easy to clean. Dries well and opens door when done.

Hasn’t worked in 2 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hasn’t worked for 2 months. Repairs company keeps ending people and they order new parts but never works. Sure wish KitchenAid would just replace it….it would be cheaper. I’m going with Bosch next time.

Problem with soap dispensery door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are two items that I have an issue with regarding my new dishwasher - one MAJOR problem and a second that is a minor annoyance.The minor annoyance: the machine resets to Prowash after every use - I have to change the setting before every use. The MAJOR problem: I have great problems closing the sliding door over the dishsoap pod - it just does not stay shut - it takes many, many tries before it remains closed. Functions beautifully; the soap door is a real pain in the neck!

Nice Dishwasher

Meets our expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher has met our expectations in most areas. It does a very good job cleaning and drying, and it's relatively quiet. The third tier feature was a big selling point for me. Our previous dishwasher did not have this, so our utensil bins got damaged from putting knives into them face down. Also, knives come out cleaner when washed in the top tier. I also like that the dishwasher automatically opens slightly when the wash is done -- this helps assure that dishes are completely dry when removed. The main thing that I would change is the large space in the middle of the bottom tier. I would have preferred more tines in that space so that more dishes could fit there. But this may not be a problem for everyone; it would depend on the size and shape of your dishes.
