Finally - the perfect diswasher!

Drying is unbelievable, the cleaning so far has been flawless, you really can't hear it running (thanks for the indicator light), the capacity is generous, and I just discovered (should have read the whole manual) the filtration set-up is simple and effective. I will recommend this model to anyone who wants the best one on the market.

Broken needing repair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] KitchenAid KDPS424SPS: The unit washes beautifully, which makes this even more frustrating. After having it only a little over a month, it has begun to leak and flood the kitchen floor. Now already needing warranty repair. A unit this reputable and expensive should not leak or fail this soon. Great wash, poor liability. Would not buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher is extremely quiet & the dishes get cleaned well. I haven't had to fill it, so I will be anxious to see how it works when full. As for drying, it seems to dry well. I have only run it overnight, so dishes are dry by morning.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not what i hoped for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited about the drying feature. Cleans well however it has cracked several of my glassware items including the thicker glassware. The top rack is nice and the pop open feature to encourage better drying.. i still have to take things out and place on my drying rack at times. Buttons on the outside are better this model is very sensitive when it comes to the buttons on the inside, accidentally turn things on when i close it sometimes.. Im not one to complain but feel my hopes were high for this… noise is okay it is not silent.. capacity is decent though. Filtration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not impressed compared to a 30 year old all plastic analog GE dishwasher. The KitchenAid makes some noise, not too loud but it sounds very wrong, like a starving pump. However we cannot determine if anything is actually wrong. The dishes come out not much cleaner than the old unit given the serious increase in run time. The routing of the water line goes under the waste water line in such a way the water feed line ends up supporting that short section of the waste water line. The electrical has to run under the most populated part of the assembly. If I had to lower the Kitchenaid any more I'd have to reroute the electrical around the pump assy. The self opening door for drying doesn't do much to improve drying either.

The unit lasted 2.5 years and then stopped working. Repair person replaced the control board to no avail.
