Cleans well but, noisy and sensitive control panel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, this machine surely is not quiet compared to our old whirlpool. The literature states a 44 db level and I measure levels in the 50’s to 60. The old machine was so quiet you wouldn’t know it was running. If our KA is rated at 44db our old machine must’ve been 5-10db. Our new machine is very noticeable during every sequence. In fact we can hear it running while we are watching tv in the living room and we don’t have an open concept designed home. The other thing that is annoying is the control panel is so sensitive we are constantly accidentally selecting functions. Our old machine had a top control panel but apparently wasn’t so touch sensitive.
On a positive note, it does do a very good job of cleaning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new dishwasher cleans well and is almost too quiet. However, the stainless steel door gets very smeared and dirty looking (there are only 2 adults in our house) and it needs to be constantly wiped off.

I’m very happy with it. I have an open floor plan and the dishwasher is so quiet, we don’t hear it. The dishes come out sparkling clean!

Sparkling clean dishes that are dry!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dishwasher to replace our 11 year old KitchenAid dishwasher. The new model is similar to the previous one, but the drying cycle is much better. Everything is ready to unload and put away when the cycle is done.
We are still figuring out how best to load the top rack. It feels less intuitive than the previous style. Having said that, top racks are a huge addition.
