easy to assemble, better with two people, under 4 hours to assemble. make sure that if your door is taller than 6 ft. that you biy the extension for the 8 or the 10 ft. (NOT INCLUDED IN KIT).

Good upgrade that you can install yourself!

PRO: Easy for one adult to install especially if you are replacing an older machine and you have all the wires and power ready to go.
The instruction to assemble your opener is only through the “BILT” app that you can get from scanning the QR code on the box. Easy to follow and you can go back and forth to check the instructions.
The only difficult part might be if you are replacing an older machine unit and the brackets that attach the unit to the ceiling don’t match up. Be prepared to buy more angle iron so that you can attach it correctly.
Dual lights were super bright! Love it!
Nice, substantial and rechargeable backup battery is a great piece of mind.
CON: Even with the DC motor it was a bit louder than I hoped. Not loud, but just a bit more hummm sound than I expected but very acceptable.
Some of the setup light flashing the instructions told me to note did not happen as explained, but everything still functioned as it should
PRO TIP: Even after you set the tension for the belt, after running the door up and down during set up and checking that the emotes work you may find that the belt gets VERY saggy especially in the open position. They don’t tell you to anticipate this but it may happen. Don’t freak out like I did, just go back to the tensioner and tighten it a bit more, a little at a time, and check your 1 1/4 on the spring. Fixed it right up.
Also, once you get the BILT app installed and the instructions start, I highly recommend you chill for a few and click through all the instructions before you start. Nothing hard about the assembly but it just makes you a little more familiar and speeds up the process! Enjoy!
