great product, awesome upgrade

Finally replaced our 20 year old craftsman, this thing is so quiet and smooth. The connectivity is awesome and relieves so much anxiety- we don’t have to wonder if we closed the door anymore. Install was simplified by the Bilt app - extremely convenient. Plus battery backup?! Great value.

Why downgrade from the model this one replaced?

The B6753T or B6755T appear to be Chamberlain's replacement for the B6765T, unfortunately, the B6765T was much nicer. The biggest disappointment with this newer opener over the one it replaced is the loss of the smart control panel. The smart control panel provided a lot of useful information in a pinch, and made some settings that cannot be configure via the app easy to set on the opener itself. The older model had a brighter light, it had metal body instead of plastic, and there was an adjustable angle camera. The B6765T cost a bit more, but I would have been happy to pay for the higher quality.
I had to buy the B6753T / B6755T because I can't find the B6765T anymore. The new opener mostly works fine other than the loss of many great features that were on the B6765T it replaced. The only other issue I've been having is with the occupancy sensor for the lights, on the new ones it is flakey. The lights sometimes turn on and stay on for hours with no one in the garage and no view to outside. I still haven't figured out what's wrong there, my B6765T never had this issue. I wouldn't recommend this product, but Chamberlain has left consumers with no choice. The new best model is simply worse.

easy to install and setup.

A seriously needed upgrade from our previous door opener. The only thing I notice to be of concern, is the slack in the belt as it opens and closes. Other that that, this new opener works very well.

Bilt instructions were very complete and clear. I have an 8 foot garage door so i needed to order the extension kit. The opener is shipped with rails and belt for a 7 foot door. Installation was straight forward without problems. The wires on the safety sensors should be longer to accomodate the maximum door height of 10 feet with a 12 foot garage ceiling. They barely reached the opener.
