Good opener, but bad box design

seems like a good opener, but the longitudinal arrangement of the box may cause problems limiting door travel in garages with cross beams

Opener is great! Install instructions lacking.

Very quiet operation. Adjusting the sensors was challenging. Had to Google error codes that were nowhere to be found in the instructions.

The instructions are so modularized it is so easy to make a mistake. Need a "how the setup should be looking" when beginning each midule (door is, power off, door trolley unlocked etc..

1) the BILT instructions have the red and white wires reversed going to the wall unit.
2) in tge instruxtions for starting programming, it is crucial that BILT and the instruction manual add, "before beginning, check to make sure the carriage and trolley are locked together and the manual release is in the "lock" position (pointing to the head unit). The garage door will be up most of the way.
(2) When programming the UP arrow travel limit for the first time, the door already is very nearly open; the travel time will be short, maybe 1 second, to set the open travel limit. Be prepared to stop the UP travel quickly after pressing the UP button. If not, you risk locking up the motor and belt.

while the bilt app is good, it still sucks. your finger controls are shoddy at best. everytime i tried to move the screen around to get a better view of what i needed to do it got lost and took me forever to re-establish where i was so i couls try again. please, please, please make paper manuals an option, even if we have to download it abd print it ourselves.
outside of the bilt app, your product is great! i have 2 openers in my garage in my MN home and just installed this one in my AZ home.

Excellent app with clear instructions

Excellent guided instructions. Was able to install entirely by myself with the help of an extension ladder and secured saw horses for resting and positioning the garage door opener.
My one recommendation would be to allow for selecting and zooming in on individual parts from the parts list at each step to more admit differentiate between bolts, screws, and nuts.
