Set up was more difficult than I imagined, but I get through with a little perseverance and extra coffee breaks. The app is not easy to read on a small smart phone. A tablet would’ve been easier. It’s quiet and now connected to the internet. One remote works and the other doesn’t, but I’ll push through. Happy so far.

It took 2 of us 8 hours. We are intelligent people and can read directions. I would advise to measure your existing bracket as ours was not quite long enough to reach the new opener. Some things in the directions were not as clear as they could have been. This is already a thousand times better than the Genie it replaced. The ability to use the app to open and close is TOP NOTCH!

Ease of installation, ease of use

Very thorough for installation. It could use a troubleshooting link for specific steps. For example, I plugged the backup battery in and it flashed red. Then i had it all done and I went to hit the opener button and nothing happened and it was not lit up anymore. Third, when I close the door with the remote, an alarm goes off and I have no idea why. Creating a link to a specific troubleshooting measure for specific steps would help greatly. Especially a link to diagnostic codes.
The opener itself is quite nice. It is much quieter than a chain drive. Having multiple ways to open and close the garage door is handy. Wall mount, remote, phone, and programmed into the vehicles opener. It was all ease to set up and use.

These instructions were great! I loveed the CAD based instructions and how accurate they were. It also made me feel comfortable that I have record of correct installation!
