Super Easy Install. Great garage opener

I have installed garage door openers many times in my life before this one. This was by far the easiest. The interactive downloaded instructions were amazing. Don't change a thing. By the way, I love my new garage door opener. Very nice.

The You Tube has better instructions than this app

This instructions arent clear and doesn't solve any questions. Poor design of instructions. Is annoying the way the Chamberlain my Q chosen to do this interactive instructions. I highly recommend look for a video on YouTube.

Works great however missing major Feature

I previously had a Chamberlain Garage door opener with battery backup.
it was great we have a split level house and put the put control remote by the basement entrance to the garage. I did the same with this unit however while I like the motion to put on the lights it does not have a feature like my previous that when the safefy beams are broken the light will come on. it is great in the evening when the door is open and the lights go out. now I have to walk to the back of the garage to activate the Motion detector. if it were not for this simple missing feature It would be a 5 start. Still trying to figure out how to make garage door open work under these stituations.

Pros: battery backup, quiet, easy to install
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good install but the new location for the service panel. Wires, etc is now in the back. Many home like mine have beam across the middle of the garage. This makes accessing the service panel difficult but it can be done.

This opener is much smoother than my older chamberlain that I replaced. The BILT app is good but not perfect. It does give options when there are two possibilities during specific sections of the install but it doesn’t give you a select option to choose the correct option. That can be confusing for some. Lastly, there’s no simplified instructions for programming other remotes.
