great guide and easy to follow for one person from start to end, but there are a few specific details missing at some steps such as hardware orientation.

Replaced old Chamberlain opener with Chamberlain B 6753 T. Easy to install with the BILT app. Opener is quiet and runs smooth, good product!

it isn't long enough to fit an eight foot door so I am going to have to buy an extension kit. Box says nothing about what size door it works with.

make sure it fits your door. wasn't long enough for our eight foot door. nothing on box that tells you what it fits. have to buy an extension kit and move brackets to make it fit properly.

Hello Laurie, thank you for your review and feedback on your B6753TMC installation process. It is printed on the opener carton that the opener/rail fits garage doors up to 7ft high. This means that for a higher door, a rail extension is needed. For an 8ft garage door, you will need rail extension model 8808CB-P.

i hate thid garage opener. i have to set uo and down limitsvevery week. ut just fogets what was programed. i have to do this once a week, if the opener lets me. i have scree around with the setting for about an hour before it will accept the settings. Stay far away from Chamberlain garbage.
