The drip tray cover (some sort of steel) has rusted within a month of ownership. It is clearly not coffee splashes. No, I have not washed it (scrubbed, dishwasher, etc.). I have tried to rinse off the rust... Makes coffee at the press of a button.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit has not worked properly from the start. My Nespresso machines have always worked flawlessly for years. Instead of letting me exchange for a new unit, like most places would, Phillips has made me jump thru hoops trying to fix this thing. Make sure you buy products from places that let you return or exchange.

The only thing I don’t give it 5 is the cup sizes. I want option for 12 zone cup I drink coffee in a mug not a tea cup.
