User friendly home espresso machine that produces tasty coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Phillips automatic espresso machine was easy to set up and get started with, very user friendly with clear instructions. Having been a barista for 10 years I have strong opinions regarding coffee quality. This machine pulled a good shot of espresso and made both a good cup of coffee and a good latte. My only complaint is that the foam was a little weak and did not match up to a professional espresso machine. Overall a great home espresso machine that I would strongly recommend.

I enjoy the flavor so much that I feel like I'm at a European Cafe! The display panel walks you through the easy set-up. There are so many choices that there is something for everyone's preference.
I also love making only one cup at a time using whole beans rather than disposible pods.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this machine about a month now and love it! I had the previous model before but the new series has been upgraded to include iced coffee options which in the summer is a must!
Phillip’s series 5500 makes it so easy to make personalized coffee at home. The machine has 20 preset coffee recipes (includes ice drinks which is new from the previous version!). The machine is super easy to use - husband calls it lazy girl proof! The grounds are easy to clean up (just dump it out) and you don’t need to do it after every brew.
The machine is really quiet and heats up fairly quickly.
It takes a bit to figure out how you want the beans to be ground and getting it just right but once you get it (along with the right beans) you’ll never need to go out for a coffee again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is truly fantastic. The coffee is great. The Late-Go system is so simple to use and maintain. I'm sure you can spend a lot more on a super automatic machine but I can't believe it could be meaningfully better.

I have had this superauto for 6 months. Works flawlessly. It takes some trial and error to find your right beans, grind settings, etc., but well worth it. For the price, this machine has a great selection of drink varieties and is easy enough to use for the whole family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was really happy with my 4300 so when the 5500 came out with some features I desired I bought it. It was a total disaster.
Coffee was weak and the grounds container had coffee mud instead of nicely formed grounds pucks.
Since we still had the 4300 we returned the 5500.Guess we will live with yhe rreduced capabilities at least until Phillips gets things working correctly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
