The Smoothie Blender!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 6 weeks ago for my smoothie-loving husband. He loves it. He puts in his ingredients, turns it to the smoothie setting, press play and then boom! A perfectly blended drink every time.

My blender sounds very lethargic and slow. It does what I want it to do, but the quality is not what I thought it would be.

a solid blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a few kitchenaid appliances. They are great. This one was to replace another one I had. At first when using it the engine smells like it is burning off something. It has faded some, but is still there a bit when making a smoothy. I wish the container was larger. All that said, it is solid, works well, and love having a red blender.

Exactly What I Wanted After a LOT of Research

I researched blenders for over a month. It is challenging to determine which blender to buy since some reviews love a blender while others say the exact opposite. I was suspicious of many blenders, including this one, since most of the reviews on blenders are from 'sweepstakes winners'. I purchased this blender a month ago and have been using it almost daily for smoothies. The smoothie preset is perfect and then I use the clean preset for washing. I have also used it to make pesto. It is a pretty design too and fits under my cabinets. Very happy.
