Very Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the bearings blow out several times causing blackish green grease to get all over the kitchen. The “jar” has been replaced once and most recently, the entire blender was replaced. It has happened again already. I enjoy a smoothie every morning but this blender can not handle it. I have given up on it. So disappointed.

It's got a very powerful motor, nice features, and easily handles the worst you can throw at it (grinding up dry ice is about the hardest thing you can do to a blender...and this handles that task beautifully)! Word of (obvious) caution...do not let anyone (kids, pets) place the carafe on an already spinning spindle...that's instant death to the little plastic interface and will end your blender.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it one week ago and I love it. Love the way it has a wash feature so don't hard work on that. I just made my blend beans for my children and easier than in any other blender and big space as well. Love it!!

Amazing!

I was using an older Oster beehive blender (so cute!), but no matter how long I ran it on high, I still had chunks of frozen fruit in my smoothies. Admittedly, the K400 takes up more counter space, but it blends the smoothies with no lumps or chunks of frozen fruit in just a couple of seconds! I couldn’t be happier. :)

It also looks very good in the setting in our kitchen. Not only does it looks good it performs as what you would expect from KitchenAide as a brand. Highly recommended.
