We’re a KitchenAid household and have been adding to our collection one appliance at a time. We had an other brand name blender with a glass canister that we accidentally broke. This was our opportunity to finally purchase the blender of my dreams. Our KitchenAid counter top appliances are Candy Apple Red so we purchased this blender in a Passion Red, and it compliments our other appliances well. We’ve made so many margaritas and slushy beverages for the past 3 weeks, it’s amazing! We were so impressed on how quickly and easily it converts ice cubes to “shaved ice!” It’s like magic! So simple and easy to use and it’s extremely durable with a heavy duty plastic canister. Simply wonderful and I just love it!!!!

Nice fire and forget settings for normal blend operations. The ice drink and smoothie settings run a cycle of a couple different speeds in a short amount of time to first crush the ice and then blend or whip. Instead of having to stand there and play with pulsing and speeds, this blender already does the procedures you might have done manually with the 1950's style blenders our there.

Quality, Timeless Blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fed up with buying other blender brands at at a cheaper price point that either didn’t blend well, broke easily, or both. We went through two “quality name brand” blenders over the past few years that ended up breaking and did not blend well even when they did work. I have a good friend that works for Kitchenaid and recommended this blender as he has one he uses daily in his own home. I have not been disappointed - finally! This thing blends smoothies so smooth and helps me blend soaked cashews super smooth for vegan/vegetarian recipes. Finally a blender that actually blends, and you can tell from the weight of this appliance it has good craftsmanship and power behind it and I know I have a longer warranty and customer support behind this product should an issue arrive. At this price point, I highly recommend this blender.

Great deal for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this blender earlier this month, and it far surpasses my expectations. It works as well as far more expensive models, yet it costs a fraction of them. I *love* the self clean mode -- just add half a pitcher's worth of water and two drops of soap, hit a button, and your blender washes itself. All you need to do is rinse it in the sink. Great product.
