[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I take care of someone who can only eat pureed food. This blender is a life-saver! It's very efficient, and I love the fact that it turns itself off after 3 minutes. This means I can walk away and not worry about it. I also really like the self-cleaning feature - it's a big help!
I read a review that said it was loud, to which I can only say: every blender I've ever used is kind of loud, but that means it's doing its job.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a few kitchenaid appliances. They are great. This one was to replace another one I had. At first when using it the engine smells like it is burning off something. It has faded some, but is still there a bit when making a smoothy. I wish the container was larger. All that said, it is solid, works well, and love having a red blender.
