Good reviews, nice toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster has only been used two mornings at this time. It was purchased to be used for a daycare breakfast program at our church once a week. The kitchen workers like it, but it doesn't toast as evenly on both sides as they had hoped. That is solved by turning the toast around partway through the cycle. They look forward to trying it with bagels and English muffins.

Good toaster…but

Loud beep when toast is done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks great and makes bread toasty. It has a loud beep when it is finished toasting that is startling at first and takes some getting used to. As far as I know the beep alarm cannot be silenced. I tried to take it apart to take out the alarm but it is assembled with triangle head screws. So I ordered some triangle head bits and haven't had a chance yet to take it apart. I don't have a gigantic house to need an alarm on the toaster. I can hear when it pops up since I'm less than 10 feet away in the kitchen. Please remove the alarm or just add a silence option. Thank you.

Could not burn toast even if you wanted

This is a very nice toaster.
Pros nice looking, 4 slice, wide mouth
Cons big footprint, takes way too long to toast, no adjustment to make it toast faster, knob to adjust longer toast time ergo making it darker also increases the time it takes.
I needed to time breakfast around toast time. I would sacrifice a possible burnt toast for a faster toasting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
