[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like it a lot, but even on the lowest setting my toast is still slightly dark. I like lightly toasted so I usually hit cancel before it has a chance to pop up. Awesome for bagels though! I would buy it again.

Uneven toasting

I have this toaster about 4 years not a lot of use a few times a week it drives my husband crazy because it does not toast evenly one side darker than the other crumb trays are clean and so is the inside of the toaster
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Toaster is trash!

I had to return the first one I bought because it wouldn’t engage when you pushed down the lever. That should’ve been a red flag. Now, it burns toast on the lowest setting and the switches don’t work well either.

Smell

Just purchased, my wife plugged in, and toasted 1 piece of bread. Toaster has gross metallic smell.. no exaggeration.. we could smell this from 40 feet away. We thought we had an electrical fire in our house. Pushed down levers and confirmed smell is coming from toaster.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Could not burn toast even if you wanted

This is a very nice toaster.
Pros nice looking, 4 slice, wide mouth
Cons big footprint, takes way too long to toast, no adjustment to make it toast faster, knob to adjust longer toast time ergo making it darker also increases the time it takes.
I needed to time breakfast around toast time. I would sacrifice a possible burnt toast for a faster toasting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just what I wanted from a toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a 4 slice toaster several years ago and never was happy with how long it took to toast a slice of bread. Decided to try this one because we have had a stand mixer for many years and it has always preformed flawlessly. This toaster is fast and has plenty of adjustment available to get the toast or frozen pastry just like you want it. Also like the life feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!
