I just purchased this toaster though it look great and believe kitchen aid to be a good company.Very disapointed with the results. My husband tried to toast a piece of bread on number 2 and it was burnt. I tried number 1 and it did nothing than 1 and a half and their was not much color. Can not believe on 2 that it is burnt.,
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the money paid and the brand name I expected better. It was larger than our last toaster and not as appealing, but hey it’s Kitchenaid, right? Thing burnt, I mean completely burnt a piece of bread. It was on a setting of ‘1’, and I assume any higher starts assuming relative percentage to the sun itself. Everything we put in came out dark brown or black, but only on one side. Bad product and bad experience altogether.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy to find a Kitchen Aid appliance at a great price. The bagel setting does not make an England Muffin quite dark enough.
Not only was there uneven toasting, but the knobs were hard to depress. Burnt the toast badly on setting #4 (there are 5 settings). To make matters worse, the crumb tray on the bottom bends easily, A very bad toaster, to say the least. I will be returning it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed to replace my old toaster and decided on the KitchenAid. Toaster works great only issue id when it pops the noise scares my pup.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this toaster as a wedding gift and boy does this toaster live up to the company name by the way loving the stainless steel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We went with the kitchenaid toaster because we have the stand mixer and love it. We use our toaster daily and I can say it does everything we want. Toasts perfectly. The longer, wide slots are nice for whatever size bread or bagels we are toasting. The bagel feature is AWESOME. We not only use it for bagels but we toast buns for our burgers. The buzzer let's us know when toast is done. Oh, it looks great on the counter to boot. I am happy I went with kitchenaid for our toaster!!!! Hoping to try more of their appliances in the future.
