Kitchenaid attachments

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the vegetable sheet cutter and the noodle blade for the kitchenaid mixer. Needless to say I had to wait til my husband got home to help me. I tried just the vegetable sheet cutter first with a cucumber. My cucumber looked like baby food. So we tried an apple and got same results. Not at all happy with this. Then we added the noodle blade and let me just tell you this is the coolest attachment I have gotten thus far. I can turn all kinds of vegetables into noodles and the kids will eat them without having to keep onto them. This attachment I love and everyone needs to have one.

Nice Idea but Lacking Full Functionaltiy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try this tool to help prepare healthier meals and reduce my carb intake, especially zoodles. It was a little complicated to put together/install initially, but after doing it once it became more intuitive. This attachment made quick work of the zuccinis I used, but I was disappointed to discover that the entire core of the zucchini remains on the attachment and isn't shredded/peeled. Therefore I had to use two whole zucchinis to make one portion of zoodles. Unless you want to just each the zucchini core when you are done, it seems pretty wasteful. Other cheaper and simpler veggie noodle tools use the entire vegetable. Unsure if I will continue to use this based on that fact.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this attachment. The zucchini noodles have the texture and mouth feel of regular pasta. I haven’t touched my spiralizer since I got this. It’s so easy to use. For me, it’s worth every penny. I love Kitchen Aid products. This is a beautiful and well designed tool. I’ve had my Kitchen Aid mixer for years and this attachment works perfectly.

Love that it is multi-use , not only for veggies , but for making noodles! I can't wait until my garden is in full swing, and I can use the vegetable cutter.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked great using Zucchini or an apple but food holder that attaches to motor is a plastic part and broke when trying to use a sweet potato. One of the reasons I bought it was I saw a video by someone who had worked on testing the product and created sweet potato chips with it. I was unable to do that because a plastic part is not sufficient. I have had my a stand mixer for over 60 years and have enjoyed this hight quality product and attachments - I own most of them. However a cheap plastic part that can easily break and render the attachment useless is disappointing for such a neat new attachment.I contacted customer service and I got a call back time more than a week later, my call is 12/5 Customer service with a call back a week later is absurd!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This attachment works great! The noodles came out a nice consistency. Using the vegetable sheet cutter is going to take some practice. I was unsuccessful at getting a squash to cut into a sheet on my first 2 attempts.

The blades just simply click in and have a clear gard so you are able to see the cutting perfection safety. The perfect cut every time. I really like that it doesn't have an extremely loud sound. Perfect for tring all those new recipes, and can also spice up some of your old ones. This is an awesome add for all those great recipes tou can't wait to try!!!

We have used the pasta attachment for a while now and were excited to receive the vegetable sheet cutter. I prefer to use this over our mandolin as I am always worried about cutting my fingers. This was very easy to use and clean. Have been able to make more summer vegetable dishes and am happy to use it for years to come.
