Works well, but zucchini are tricky!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love zoodles and reducing my carbs through finding ways to make carb heavy noodle dishes with vegetables instead. And I use my Kitchen Aid mixer all the time, so I thought this would be so fun to use. It is fun - but it can be a little time-consuming and you need more zucchini than you might think. I recommend using more smaller zucchini because fat zucchini are too soft in the middle and then it's hard to get the blade to work. With the firmer zucchini we got great noodles but of course of the zucchini is small you have to swap it out more often. Long winded way of saying - this is fun and works great but requires a little "getting to know" time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the KitchenAid Vegetable Sheet Cutter Attachment with Noodle Blade and I absolutely Love it. Very easy to attach to the hub and will help me make healthier choices for my Family. I attached an apple which sliced really thin and even my dog will now eat apples. These attachments can be used for so many things I am excited to keep trying new ideas with them. I also am looking very forward to making Homemade Noodles this winter to go with my Homemade Pasta Sauce.

It works great, saves space, is each to attach, use and clean. It's also of good quality. I look forward to using it whenever the occasion calls because it's just so easy.

Great for making low-carb veggie sheets annoodles!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The veggie sheet cutter with needle blade is a great accessory to the KitchenAid stand mixer. Once you get the hang of using the attachments, it's a breeze to make low-carb veggie sheets. I used zucchini, yellow squash, and carrots. Zucchini worked the best for making thin (or thicker) sheets to make a delicious low-carb lasagna. I also tried making sheets with cucumber to wrap sushi - so delicious! There is a noodle attachment to make long skinny noodles out of vegetables. I made "spaghetti" using carrots and zucchini. Again, zucchini worked the best as a pasta substitute due to the milder flavor and firm (but not overly firm) texture. Very versatile attachments!

Worked OK, but not on eggplant!

Worked well on butternut squash and zucchini. Was an absolute disaster when I tried it on 3 different eggplants. During the QVC presentation- they mentioned that it could be used on eggplant. Please advise how to get

Routs out veges

if the core isn't as firm as the first firmer zucchini in the spring, the vegetable gets routed out by the prong that secures it to the mixer rather than turning the vegetables to be cut. Same results with cucumbers. I did find It works as expected with jicama and apples but those don't make good noodles. I'm concerned I will have the same routing results using the spiralizer & have not made a decision to purchase that attachment yet. These attachments were the primary reason I decided to buy a KA mixer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
