[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this blender to replace a Ninja that kept breaking on me. I'm surprised at how powerful this one is. I only use it for smoothies, but it's similar in style and function as a Vitamix. It also looks great on the counter. I do wish it had a glass container, but if you're mostly using it for liquids and ice, it's worth the price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried the blender for smoothies, pesto, and guacamole. Smoothies are easy with fresh or frozen fruit. Guacamole doesn't work well because it is too hard to get it out from around the blades. Self cleaning setting works well as long a the top is washed separately after the cleaning cycle to get food out of the groves. In general I like the blender very much.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this blender! Not only does it look good on my counter (very well designed) it is easy to use and powerful. It makes my morning smoothies faster than any blender I have previously owned. It is also super easy to clean. I use my blender everyday!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this for christmas and it's been great so far. Seems to be very well built. I've used it for smoothies and sauces. No problem blending whatever I have put in it so far. Like the preprogrammed setting and the clean feature. Would have given it 5 stars but my only complaint is the graduations on the jar are really hard to see - especially if you are using a white liquid.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great, medium size blender! It blends delicious smoothies without any problems, including crushing the ice, so now we're already looking forward to making iced milkshakes this summer plus googling lots of new recipes. The tamper is a handy tool that lets us push the fruit around to keep the chunks moving, especially, when we've made the smoothies a little too thick. This blender has all the speeds and power we could possibly need for any recipe, plus it matches our KitchenAid mixer and chopper, all in matte black! (For a long time, we thought only the big guys could get these ice crushing jobs done, but we were obviously fooled like so many others, so we just pulled the Vita Mix out from the back of the cupboard where it's been long forgotten for the last few years and put it into the garage sale box.) KitchenAid has restored our belief that a blender can actually be easy to use and clean. Finally, we have blender that's going to sit on the counter and used on a regular basis, plus....it matches our KitchenAid mixer and chopper, all in matte black! Beautiful!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this blender recently and wasn't sure how it would match up to some of the more expensive blenders. I knew the KitchenAid name from previous appliances I had purchased (my last blender was actually a KitchenAid) and am very happy with the new one! It is very easy to clean and the blades really make a smooth smoothie, even when adding ice cubes or frozen fruit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago and love how great my protein smoothies come out and the self clean function works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to make cleansing drink in the am without having to strain it. I hate juicers. Too hard to clean, noisey and time consuming. I fell in love with my blender after first use! No straining, no extra parts to clean, no mess and easy cleanup!
