This oven has easy to see controls and is pretty quiet. I like the dark interior instead of the usual white. The interior and turntable are a good size. The interior coating seems more durable than others. I like the 3 custom memories.

I thought, this was identical to the good value and long lasting previous similar Sharps model. Two things, I don't like. 1. Noisy-- loud cranking sounds, as carousel turns. And, insufficient sound proofing - VERY loud and disturbing background hum. 2. Grey interior makes it impossible to see when water is boiling, despite light. Previous interior was white. Lazy, not to have painted the interior.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We like how the beeping can be permanently silenced, especially since opening the door does not cause the beeping to stop, like it did no the microwave which it replaced (over 10 years old)

We are also happy with this new Sharp purchase and the instructions were helpful with the set-up. Our new Sharp microwave works great: very quiet, easy to use controls, heats up evenly, looks nice.

I would give this microwave 5 stars but it is a bit noisy. Mine seems to have a vibration that I cannot pinpoint. It works well and has several convenient shortcut functions.
