I haven’t had this microwave very long but so far it seems to be working great. Definitely doesn’t take long to reheat leftovers. Food is very evenly warmed. The only drawback to the unit is the beeping four times when time runs out. There is no stopping it other than to hit the clear button before the time runs out. Otherwise we are very satisfied with our purchase.

This is my second purchase of a Sharp microwave. My first one lasted about 15 years. Also,we bought a house that had a Sharp microwave and so far we have had it for 15 years and I don’t know the age of it. Both older products were well designed and we couldn’t be happier. The only reason we gave 4 stars is that we don’t care for the 5 beeps when it is finished. Three beeps spaced further apart would be better as it is pretty loud.

This unit is the same make and model that I previously had for quite awhile (5+ yrs), which was just the right price, size, and color (white) that I wanted. The buttons quit working properly so it was time for a new one. There are fancier models but this one works for my purpose. Oh, they upgraded (enlarged) the glass plate, so there's that.

Only have had for about 2 months and Microwave sounds funny, like it's struggling to operate and for popcorn it either doesnt fully cook it or burns, everytim and this was advertised specifically for popcorn.
