This unit is almost identical to the one that it replaced. Controls are familiar (same). I was very happy with the unit prior to this (lasted 10 years of heavy use) and expect this one will be as pleasant to use. My only complaint is the lighting inside; not nearly as bright and useful as my old Sharp:-(

I am happy with this microwave. I had an earlier model of it. One thing I don't like is that when I open the door, it doesn't clear a normal size plate in front of the door and microwave. The old one did.

Good basic microwave with useful features. Cons, comparing to my previous microwave, are that the buttons are hard to push, the door open button is hard to push, and the turntable does not return to the front after heating.
