This is a replacement for my 16-year-old Sharp microwave which still worked fine but was showing its age. This new one works great and is a little smaller, so I freed up a little counter space. It still fits a full dinner plate.

The boxes that it's 1150 watts the same as the general electric model I had previously but this one seems to take longer to heat the food than the previous and unit that I had. It's okay just stopped my other one was better.

This is a good solid microwave. It replaced a GE microwave which we had for 15 years, but died. The Sharp microwave is smaller and less wattage than the GE, but this baby cooks better than the GE in my opinion. The noise is minimum, and the output is great. All my cookware fits in it which makes it that much better!

Our first Sharp microwave was getting older and one day….it stopped working. Went online to look at different models. Others had a lot of the same features the Sharp has. Why spend more money when we knew our first Sharp was great and worked for 20 yrs. Love our new microwave. Easy to use and has bigger writing on front to see easily. Large rotating glass dish inside. Easy to clean :)
