Great purchase

I purchased this microwave because of its features - in particular, its size, wattage and exhaust system. It's placed above my new GE Profile dual fuel range, and is vented to the outside. I really like the fact that I can use Chef Connect to sync the microwave clock with the range, and not worry about having to adjust both at time changes. The venting system works incredibly well, and comes on automatically when the range cooktop is on. The microwave took some time to learn all the various features, but now that I know them, it's a breeze to use. And its 1000 watt power really cooks things quickly. I had a 700 watt countertop model before, so I have to be careful when putting in the time I want something to heat. All in all, a really great microwave.

Extendable vent is a winner

Full kitchen update. Needed an over-range micro but previous model was ineffective in diverting steam from front stove burners. The push-out vent was THE ANSWER ! With 4 vent speeds, steam is blownup and away- no more condensation on micro door! Love how the back vents tilt down to 'scoop' steam upward. The 2 lighting levels (hi lo) are brggt enough to illuminate entire stove area. The only draw back is timing is 15sec intervals but im used to it now. If you need extra ventilation with over-range micro-- look no further. This micro is a winner.

Good Microwave & an extra special vent

We chose this microwave to complete our GE set of appliances and assumed we would like it - we do. A nice plus is the vent that extends several inches if you want to pull more steam or cooking smells from your stove top cooking. Years ago in another house we had installed a special vent that was very slim and pulled out to turn on and clear the air in the kitchen...this microwave has that built in. We are still getting used to no number pad - it has a dial. Have no doubt it will soon be second nature. Fingerprints happen, but are easily wiped away with my dish cloth or paper towel.

Great micro

Works well. Lots of settings. Intuitive design. Easy to keep clean. The only minus is that you need to push pretty hard on the control pad. I hope that doesn’t make it wear out too soon.

This microwave has a built in Fan that extends over th front burners on your stove. Great feature that really makes a difference!!! Actual microwave works fantastic!!!
