One Big Flaw

You can only adjust the cook time in 15 second intervals. This is very annoying if you want to warm something for 10 or 20 seconds. If I had known this beforehand I would never have purchased this microwave.

Not worth the price

Stopped working after a year. Plastic components in the pop out vent that break off. You have to unscrew the frame to clean the filters. Don’t buy it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had GE Profile products in my home for twenty years. They are great products. Reliable, easy to work with and an amazing value ! Especially noting the products have required little to no repair. I recently replace a twenty year old GR Profile microwave with another GE Profile microwave and am thoroughly satisfied with the product. I have been so fortunate with the GE Profile line that it was just a natural decision to purchase that same line again. Thank you GE for producing such a great product and to Salemi's Appliance for being so reputable and accommodating.

Worked Less Than One Year!

This microwave has shorted out. Not heating at all. Sounded like an electronic arcking within the control pad. Instantly quit heating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stylish and functional with minor nitpicks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, the first thing you notice when using this microwave is how sharp the display and controls feel with great build quality. The push/pop forward vent hood is an amazing feature for capturing steam and smoke from the front range burners. Food cooks evenly and tends to run perfectly with instructions for 1000W microwaves. My only nitpick is when dialing time, it only goes up in 15 second increments, so I occasionally find myself watching the timer count down to stop at the odd time (i.e., 20 seconds).
I would recommend this to a friend!

We had an LG microwave for years. One of the things I like about. It was an extender .We had an LG microwave for years. One of the things I like about. It was an extend a vent.

Great purchase

I purchased this microwave because of its features - in particular, its size, wattage and exhaust system. It's placed above my new GE Profile dual fuel range, and is vented to the outside. I really like the fact that I can use Chef Connect to sync the microwave clock with the range, and not worry about having to adjust both at time changes. The venting system works incredibly well, and comes on automatically when the range cooktop is on. The microwave took some time to learn all the various features, but now that I know them, it's a breeze to use. And its 1000 watt power really cooks things quickly. I had a 700 watt countertop model before, so I have to be careful when putting in the time I want something to heat. All in all, a really great microwave.
I would recommend this to a friend!
