A little under powered, you can tell it only has 950 watts. Takes longer to cook things.

OK Microwave, limited exhaust, controls missed

I bought it to replace an old similar model from GE Profile that start to have issues with the controller after 14 years of use. It works OK, some materials appear to be inferior than the previous, but is the only one I found that has stainless steel interior and closely matches the other appliances in the kitchen. The Chef Connection is a nice feature, however just works to turn fan and lamp on. It should also turn off when cooktop is not in use. Also it turns the fan at low speed that does nothing to pull the vapors out of the kitchen. It should turn on high. The exhaust is weak even on high, and would be desirable a higher flow. Had not tested the conventional Oven function or air fryer. I am concerned that the cleaning effort afterwards will not compensate. I will continue using dedicated appliances for that. Display is very bright and bright is not controllable. I have a night light for free now.

What an upgrade!

I've had a multi-purpose micro-convection oven for many years - Kenmore and Kenmore Elite - last one was an over-the-range model which this one replaced.
It now has far more control and cooking options, adding an air fryer as well. So, along with dual-level stovetop lighting and either exterior or interior venting, this new oven does it all. The oven can communicate via Bluetooth with a similarly equipped stovetop. The beauty of this unit was that it was a direct replacement for the Kenmore Elite it replaced and fit the original mounts perfectly for a 1/2 hr install time. I did add an AC line surge and spike protector for the unit to plug into, necessary from past experience with rural power (anything with a "motherboard" controller can benefit).
