Air Fry a dissapointment

The racks suggested for air frying have a wide gap between the bars and the food, which leads to items like shrimp, Brussels sprouts, and chicken tenders falling through. Unfortunately, they don't provide a basket-type accessory to address this issue.
When I contacted GE NAsewrs regarding this matter, they suggested using the solid circular plate provided and placing it on top of the rack. However, this method hinders the airflow around the food, which defeats the whole purpose of air frying.
They advised against using a generic basket tray from another manufacturer
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works for custom kitchens -wider for lg. cooktops

I needed to replace my old microwave and it had to be the same size as the other (custom). There were only a few choices but I just had bought a GE dishwasher so was happy to find a similar item

Looks better and the Air Fryer works well

Looks more modernized and simple than the previous similar oven we had for about 5 years. Cleaner design.
The learning period will be short for that reason. The "add more time" feature is gone. All in all the arrangement of the touch pad keys are more intuitively placed. The addition of Air Fryer is good. I haven't read the owners manual yet so I will skip the negative critiques that are written. I just pushed the most logical options and started using it. We are so used to the convection-microwave features that now we can't do without them. I only hope this one will last more than 5 years.

Had this new microwave about 3 weeks and it is great. Easy and use and does what it is supposed to do. Convection, microwave and air fryer. All that saves a lot of counter space. Can’t beat it at this price.

I like the versatility of being able to use it as a microwave or electric oven. It does take a long time to preheat. I haven’t tried air frying in it yet. I didn’t notice when I bought it that it doesn’t have a keypad. You set the time and power with a dial. I would prefer a keypad. I do like it though. It looks and works great.
