Black Slate looks great, fast shipping

We love this microwave. The Slate Black was a great choice for our updated kitchen. The Airfryer is a very handy as well. Great price, very fast shipping direct from GE. Lead times through bigbox stores were way longer.

3 Overs in One!

It's only been a week but I am loving this Microwave/ Convection oven and Airfyer Combination Appliance.
I just made a roasted salmon filet for 6 in under 15 minutes using the convection oven. We a a small, dual -bin airfryer that is a countertop unit. This will free up counterspace. Controls are pretty straightforward, but I miss the 1-5 minutes buttons. It does have a 30 sec. button and a dial to set time. It's quick but takes a little a little getting used to. I bought the stainless steel version, which has a full stainless interior, whereas the black stainless and matte black models have a black porcelain interior.
Can't wait to try the airfryer option.
My last GE Micro lasted 25 years, so I love it's dependability.

This was purchased to replace a 20 year-old major store brand that appeared to be made by GE.
The new microwave has slightly less power than the old one, so takes a little longer to heat things, but this is a minor quibble.
The interior is easy clean, and the overall design is good. We'll get used to the dial over time. The options are plentiful. The LED lights and clock are bright and clear. It was easy to convert the fan to recirculation.
We tried the air fry function, and it took much longer to crisp things than the product recommended. It will take some time to get that function down.
This fit exactly in the space where the old microwave hung, which was important, since the solid backsplash left zero wiggle room.
Overall, this has worked out fine. Hopefully, reliability is as good as the old one.

This replaced a previous model which did not have air fry. Can modify rating after I try it out. Hope it works and would appreciate instructions. So far all is well.
