What a wonderful appliance!

I really liked my old GE Profile Microwave but it died and I replaced it with this appliance, which I LOVE!

Great microwave/lousy instructions

I would be posting five stars completely, because this is a absolutely outstanding microwave, both by features and function. However,, it is so disconcerting to try to use it wit 2 pages of directions that came with it that it is not getting used as it should. There are more features I cannot access --because I have no owners manual, and when I went to the site to order one when I registered my microwave? GE now says they do not make one because they're saving paper. I would pay for an owners manual, so I could use this 100% !!! I purposely bought a convection microwave, with air fryer ability in order to use it for that reason and I have yet to be able to do it. Why should I have multiple appliances when this one is supposed to be able to do all? However, I'm using it just as all other microwaves I've had. As a plain microwave it's wonderful.... on the other hand I could have spent a lot less money if I just wanted that. I am just disappointed in the manufacturer for not supplying an owners manual, and the one online is extremely hard to read. pulling up directions on the computer in one room and running to see if I can get that function working in the kitchen is rather useless/so my review is Great microwave / rotten instructions.

I like the microwave. The door opens easier than my older GEProfile microwave, but thought have to push the screen harder for the options, ex, cook button power button

Self-installed the microwave, installation went smoothly. I have operated it in microwave, convection and air fryer modes and am pleased with the performance in them all. In particular, the air fryer mode made my frozen vegetable spring rolls crispier than I ever managed in my toaster oven - and without having to turn them over 1/2-way through. I liked it well enough that I ordered the GE Profile range to go with it.

I bought this microwave because it’s just a newer version of the 8 year old one one that gave up on me, so if it’s in the same space over my stove. I’m generally happy with it so far, except that opening and closing the door, makes more noise than the old one, and there is only one beverage setting instead of three, which is supposedly a sensor setting, but my coffee comes out boiling. So does my soup on the reheat.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The only negative would be we can’t set the microwave cook time to the second. Only choices are in 15 second increments and when you are microwaving eggs it matters.
