Not quite an Advantium, but does OK

My beloved 20-year-old Advantium finally died, and I would have bought another, but I wanted a white appliance, so thought this would be a decent replacement. I really wanted another small oven that's also a microwave, and I'm still adjusting to this one. I do wish the display light wasn't so bright....it lights up my whole kitchen at night! And, I find it hard to press the "buttons" on the display. I often have to press several times to get the correct spot and pressure. The first pie I baked in it was a failure, and I don't know why. It just didn't cook right. I have baked muffins that turned out fine; I just had to rotate them for even baking. I like using the metal shelf for casseroles, since it does not turn and I can use an oblong dish. I miss the Advantium speed-cook feature, but find that a high-temp roast or bake does pretty well. I downloaded and printed the instruction manual, but it is somewhat lacking. There's no explanation of what the difference is between roasting and baking. I also miss being able to create my custom pre-set time & temp.

Great replacement for 14 year-old version

The combo microwave/convection oven has nearly all the features of the one that finally failed. There are so many great features, but it is missing the keep warm and reheat options. Thankfully, the new microwave came with the filter already installed. The old one would have lasted longer had we been told that we needed the filter to vent inside.

Easy instillation but a little harder to use. Love the upgrade, just need to learn the microwave and all its features. Air fryer isn’t as nice as our original stand alone air fryer by Ninja.

Love the functionality

I was skeptical purchasing a microwave with so many additional functions however within two days I had used several functions. I truly enjoy the convection baking which enables me to bake cookies, nut bars etc. without having to heat the large oven.

A bit disappointed in the product
First it scratches so easily it already looks much older than a few months. Can only use soap and water no cleaners so never gets real clean.
Air fryer does have temp to select
Big one is vent does not work well when using front burners. Big issue since large burners are located on front of stove where you need it most. Even with unit on high house got Smokey and when cooking it’s not capture filtering odors

When cleaning the outside of the microwave, we recommend against using cleaners with ammonia or alcohol, as they can damage the appearance of the microwave oven. If you choose to use a common household cleaner, first apply the cleaner directly to a clean cloth, then wipe the soiled area. When wiping the unit, some paper towels can also scratch the surface such as the control panel. Use the Chef Connect feature for connecting your microwave to a GE Appliances range to sync your vent fan. The vent fan will turn on automatically when the cooktop burner is turned on. You can learn more on page 23 and 24 of the Owner's Manual. You may also learn about the vent filters on page 28 of the manual.
If you believe your vent fan doesn't work as it should, it may need service.
