Old GE profile and New GE profile

Installation bracket not exactly alike. Nothing a grinding wheel couldn't fix.
Miss my programable night light in the kitchen and do not appreciate LED light, really like my natural light lightbulbs.
Extra step to set time, turn knob and push start - not an improvement.

The microwave functions well. The main reason I didn't give it a 5 is because there is very little information on how to use it. It says access the full instructions from the web site. I have yet to be able to get them.
The convection oven feature is nice. Still don't know what "Combination Fast Cook" is or how to use it. Same with "Air Fry".
Not being able to punch in the numbers is a big adjustment. And not being able to set a time other than increments of 15 seconds isn't very convenient. I have to stand and watch it and stop it for the amount of time I need.
My old microwave (different brand) had some quick buttons that I used and this does not have them.
For the functions I do use it has worked well. I've had it a little over a month and am still learning.

This is such an upgrade from the previous over the range unit we had. It has so many amazing features. I love the design of this particular microwave. It's going to be so helpful having an extra oven during the holidays.

This microwave has so many features that cooking is really so much easier. At first, figuring out how to use can take a bit but then once you figure it out you'll be getting meals on the table fast!

wonderful new micro/convection oven

We're enjoying our new microwave/convection oven. It's replacing a Frigidaire with similar functions but seems to have features that are easier to use. One extra plus is that it's alert sounds are not so insistent and annoying as those on the last one.
