Easy to use

We wanted to upgrade our GE microwave with one that had convection and air fryer features. We looked at several other brands and decided to go with the GE to match the other appliances in our kitchen. This one has all of the features of the other brands that cost 3x more, and the finish matches my other GM appliances perfectly. It's super easy to use and it's very intuitive/user friendly. It doesn't show fingerprints so it's very easy to keep clean. The inside has a very attractive, high end stainless finish. It was very straight forward and easy to install. The only drawback is that I'm 5'3" and I have a hard time looking at the food's cooking progress because the door window has a black band around the bottom. Other than that, I'm 100% happy with this convection microwave and I highly recommend it over the other brands (KitchenAid, LG, Samsung, etc) we were considering

Disappointed

My microwave stopped working when it was less than two years old. This is certainly not what I expected from a GE product. I know I can schedule service for it to be repair, but service is expensive and will cost almost half what the microwave costed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Good Look and Great Cooking Options

Look the professional look and are enjoying the combination microwave/convection cooking options. Like the Chef Connect feature using bluetooth connection with the range. The single knob on the modern control panel is a little odd?

Purchased product to replace older GE profile microwave which was installed when kitchen was redone 20 years ago.I installed the new microwave in same spot with no modification and have been very happy with its performance and would recommend it too everyone

Rattling Fan

The fan rattles very loudly like a bunch of loose screws are in it. The outside stainless has a square on the door that will not clean off. Installation was subpar. Screws are not completely in. Quite unhappy.

You will hear a fan-bearing noise if the microwave is operated in temperatures below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. It is recommended that the room temperature be at least 50 degrees Fahrenheit for proper operation. For more information please refer to the link below:

This Will Be the LAST GE Microwave I Buy

I purchased this microwave in December 2022. At first I had no problems. But I recently tried to change the power level while using the unit and got the message "power level cannot be changed at this time". I double checked the manual to make sure I was doing correctly; same message. I came to the website to try to figure out what could be wrong, all I found were the same instructions that were in the manual. The control pad shorted out on the last one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great purchase

I really do like my microwave/convection oven, but the air fryer leaves a little to be desired. I cannot get it to crisp up the food very well. I was hoping to eliminate my countertop air fryer, but that will not be the case. However, I have not once used my oven since I this microwave/convection over was installed. I have cooked chicken, pork chops, a peach cobbler, and brownies in it, with excellent success. Best part is it doesn't heat up my house in the Texas summer heat!
