Not in all aspects convincing

One the one hand, we do like our microwave, but there are two negative aspects that I'd like to mention and that make me rate it 3 stars only:
- It arrived from the factory with a faulty damper installation. After the very first try, there was an error message "damper stuck". GE sent a technician - which meant we couldn't use the new microwave for about a week, until the service guy arrived. After quite some time, during which he had to take apart most of the microwave, he found out that the damper had not been installed properly from the beginning. No kudos to GE for that.
- A clear disadvantage is that the timer for the microwave can only be set at 15-seconds intervals. I think a timing by single seconds would be much better.
Other than that, we like the microwave and its versatility.

The Convection oven does not stay heated on the degree that was set. Very disappointed

Easy to use

We wanted to upgrade our GE microwave with one that had convection and air fryer features. We looked at several other brands and decided to go with the GE to match the other appliances in our kitchen. This one has all of the features of the other brands that cost 3x more, and the finish matches my other GM appliances perfectly. It's super easy to use and it's very intuitive/user friendly. It doesn't show fingerprints so it's very easy to keep clean. The inside has a very attractive, high end stainless finish. It was very straight forward and easy to install. The only drawback is that I'm 5'3" and I have a hard time looking at the food's cooking progress because the door window has a black band around the bottom. Other than that, I'm 100% happy with this convection microwave and I highly recommend it over the other brands (KitchenAid, LG, Samsung, etc) we were considering

My microwave stopped working when it was less than two years old. This is certainly not what I expected from a GE product. I know I can schedule service for it to be repair, but service is expensive and will cost almost half what the microwave costed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Good Look and Great Cooking Options

Look the professional look and are enjoying the combination microwave/convection cooking options. Like the Chef Connect feature using bluetooth connection with the range. The single knob on the modern control panel is a little odd?

Purchased product to replace older GE profile microwave which was installed when kitchen was redone 20 years ago.I installed the new microwave in same spot with no modification and have been very happy with its performance and would recommend it too everyone
