Doesn't operate as stated in directions

Just got this microwave. It has a nice large capacity, seems to work great. However, it does not allow me to set a temperature for air fry. I select manual, and then it takes me directly to setting the cooking time, never the temperature (as the directions state it should). It was bought hoping to be able to get rid of our air fryer. So, I'm a bit disappointed it doesn't work as it should.
UPDATE: GE replied saying the temperature is set at 425 and you cannot adjust. I have attached the photo of page 21 of the manual where it states you CAN change the temperature in manual mode. Have I missed something ????
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to provide some information on your over-the-range microwave's air fry temperature. The air fry temperature on your version of this model is preset to 425°F, and can't be adjusted. Loving having a 2nd oven option

So far, so good. No complaints. The oven doesn't seem as hot as my 'regular' oven but I'm still learning how to use it.

This model comes equipped with the sensor cooking controls that automatically adjusts the time and power to ensure the best cooking results. Cooking all the meals!

Our new microwave does ALL the things. My favorite features are for sure the air fryer oven mode and the convection bake capabilities. We installed ours in an RV and it makes simple meals absolutely so easy!

no owner's manual

I bought the pvm9179srss microwave & wish to finish installing it but need the owner's manual to install a filter & have been told it doesn't come with an owner's manual. Have been trying to get copy of owner's manual about half the day now with no luck. Please help!

Surface light

We just got our microwave, to early to judge. You are asking this way to soon! So far all we have used the microwave for is warming food. For sure on my wish list would be that the surface light would have soft white light. I did some reading on the subject, quite a few people feel the same. This dates back quite a ways. They say they love customer feedback???

Time Light on top is bight; hard on eyes.
Rotating 'Plate' is poorly designed; hard to put into place. The old model we had a groove and kept it in stationary position while rotating. This tends to wobble around, and lose its position!
Labels on control panel hard to read (small).
