[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't like the controls, even my daughter said it looks like they went back in time in design. It should be all electronic, so you have more control and ease of use instead of electronic buttons and dial. It seems a bit cumbersome. Not enough control of choosing cook time and not sure what the power settings mean. Wish the capacity was a bit bigger and had a second rack. I couldn't find an option to buy a second rack. The manual doesn't explain hardly anything and doesn't give any instructions for the air fry option. Should have more sensing options and reheat options, as there are only a few. On the positive side, I like it being stainless steel inside, it does heat well, and the convection works great, however I wish it beeped when the convection baking time runs out. The ventilation is better than the microwave it replaced with the vents running vertically on the side instead of horizontally on the back. The light is much brighter as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Super smart microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Multi function convenience, standard and convection. Somewhat challenging to learn the controls, as it is very different from the standard microwave we had. Maybe a product if our age too.

Convection & Microwave, yes

Most pleased! This unit replaces similar from 2005 in our RV. Installers commented that new bolts & hardware very sturdy. Fits space & operaes perfectly. One caveat: "Air fryer" feature is non-existent. There's a feature mode, yet serves zero purpose. Convection & Microwave features are spot on, regardless.

Congrats! It's wonderful to hear that you're happy with your new microwave! Not only is this appliance reliable and sturdy, it offers great features as well, including LED cooktop lighting. This unit actually does have an Air Fry option. The Air Fry uses a heating element to raise the temperature of the air inside the oven. Check out page 21 of the Owner's Manual for more information on this awesome feature. You can also find the benefits and advantages of all the features in the manual as well! Here is the link:

Doesn't operate as stated in directions

Just got this microwave. It has a nice large capacity, seems to work great. However, it does not allow me to set a temperature for air fry. I select manual, and then it takes me directly to setting the cooking time, never the temperature (as the directions state it should). It was bought hoping to be able to get rid of our air fryer. So, I'm a bit disappointed it doesn't work as it should.
UPDATE: GE replied saying the temperature is set at 425 and you cannot adjust. I have attached the photo of page 21 of the manual where it states you CAN change the temperature in manual mode. Have I missed something ????

Loving having a 2nd oven option

So far, so good. No complaints. The oven doesn't seem as hot as my 'regular' oven but I'm still learning how to use it.

Cooking all the meals!

Our new microwave does ALL the things. My favorite features are for sure the air fryer oven mode and the convection bake capabilities. We installed ours in an RV and it makes simple meals absolutely so easy!

Surface light

We just got our microwave, to early to judge. You are asking this way to soon! So far all we have used the microwave for is warming food. For sure on my wish list would be that the surface light would have soft white light. I did some reading on the subject, quite a few people feel the same. This dates back quite a ways. They say they love customer feedback???
