It’s built solid, door closes solid (not tinny), very intuitive, cooks perfectly and looks awesome with an easy to clean interior. I highly recommend this microwave. No other brand but GE. GE is all we will buy. GE appliances have been in our family since the 50’s. Never any issues.

Beautiful Microwave

This microwave is a very nice large size, even though it's mounted under the cupboard. We still have room underneath for our tall coffee machine. It's not too noisy, and the beeps are also not too bad. The display is decent, except the things you need to see like the start and cancel and add 30 seconds. It has no control for starting it at one or two minutes like most microwaves, you have to dial it on. Or add the 30 seconds. Convection is kind of a pan, as is air frying. But they work ok. Makes a bit of a mess then you have to clean the pieces you have to use for these features. But it's a very nice microwave.

So wonderful I bought one for my new home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about this microwave. I love it so much I bought another one for my new house when I moved. It is easy to use, has more functions than I could possible use and is super functional as a multi use appliance. The air fry and speed cooker are wonderful additions to the microwave features. In my first home I mounted it over the stove and it talked to the stove with Bluetooth. So convenient having the lights and the vent automatically turn on when I turned on the stove. In my new house it is built into the cabinetry over a countertop and looks lovely with my other GE Profile appliances. I cannot rave about this microwave enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't like the controls, even my daughter said it looks like they went back in time in design. It should be all electronic, so you have more control and ease of use instead of electronic buttons and dial. It seems a bit cumbersome. Not enough control of choosing cook time and not sure what the power settings mean. Wish the capacity was a bit bigger and had a second rack. I couldn't find an option to buy a second rack. The manual doesn't explain hardly anything and doesn't give any instructions for the air fry option. Should have more sensing options and reheat options, as there are only a few. On the positive side, I like it being stainless steel inside, it does heat well, and the convection works great, however I wish it beeped when the convection baking time runs out. The ventilation is better than the microwave it replaced with the vents running vertically on the side instead of horizontally on the back. The light is much brighter as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Super smart microwave

Most pleased! This unit replaces similar from 2005 in our RV. Installers commented that new bolts & hardware very sturdy. Fits space & operaes perfectly. One caveat: "Air fryer" feature is non-existent. There's a feature mode, yet serves zero purpose. Convection & Microwave features are spot on, regardless.

Doesn't operate as stated in directions

Just got this microwave. It has a nice large capacity, seems to work great. However, it does not allow me to set a temperature for air fry. I select manual, and then it takes me directly to setting the cooking time, never the temperature (as the directions state it should). It was bought hoping to be able to get rid of our air fryer. So, I'm a bit disappointed it doesn't work as it should.
UPDATE: GE replied saying the temperature is set at 425 and you cannot adjust. I have attached the photo of page 21 of the manual where it states you CAN change the temperature in manual mode. Have I missed something ????
