[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave is a replacement for a 16yr old GE profile. Same size. The new unit fits the space perfectly and is working wonderfully. The controls are in different locations than the previous appliance. Just taking a little time to get used to it.

Too many malfunctions

The Air Fryer takes much longer to cook an item than a regular Air Fryer.
The turntable is jerky and noisy.
The product is poor for the high price of the microwave with Air Fryer and Convection Baking

Good but not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well to replace a previous unit but defrost mode is poor. Previous unit allowed you to select food type & weight resulting in excellent defrost results. This unit only allows weight which results in partially cooked portions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm still very much in the learning mode and its very difficult to transition from the air fryer separate from the microwave oven cooking combo. I can't figure out how to program it for air frying. I get confused looking at the control panel...I've not given up yet, but I need a step by step explanation of how to reheat/cook/brown different dishes...

We'd be happy to provide some instructions for programming the air fry mode. You can initiate the mode by pressing the "Air Fry" button. You will then want to move the dial until you see "Manual" show up on the control screen. Next you will press the dial in, this will allow you to then move the dial to select the desired temperature, press the dial in again for your selection. Lastly, you can move the dial to program the desired time, press the dial in again to initiate. Just Purchased, Not Happy with Controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do not buy if you like to have control over cooking, especially with the main feature of microwaving. Can only set time in 15 second intervals. Just figured out how to change the power level: press cook time, set time with dial, “dial” blinks, click dial, press power level, set power with dial, “dial” blinks - but this time you don’t need to press it, you can hit start. Too many clicks GE! New designs are not always better. Other settings don’t even show you a time countdown, so you have no idea how long something will cook. I’m still trying to learn how to use it, but will likely look to purchase a simple, user friendly microwave in the near future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
